Almost three kilograms of cocaine and around £20,000 in cash have been seized after a car was stopped near Maidstone.
The BMW had been linked to suspicious activity and was brought to a halt by officers in Tonbridge Road, during the evening of Monday 20 January 2025.
The driver was detained and initial searches led to the discovery of a small quantity of drugs and more than £2,000.
An address in West Malling was then searched, where constables seized two large blocks of cocaine from a bedroom. Another £19,000 was also recovered.
Aaron Carr, 43, of Ewell Avenue, West Malling was arrested and later charged with possessing cocaine with intent to supply and with possessing criminal property (namely the cash seized).
He appeared before Sevenoaks Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday 22 January and was remanded in custody.
His next hearing will be at Maidstone Crown Court on 20 February.
