Seven people have been detained as part of an investigation into the theft of motorbikes across Medway.
The suspects were arrested on Friday 26 July 2024, following the execution of a search warrant at a business premises in Chatham.
Officers also seized two motorbikes, a quad bike and a moped, all of which are suspected to be stolen.
Those arrested included three men from Chatham aged 20, 25 and 28. A 17-year-old boy from Rochester, an 18-year-old man from Gillingham, a 22-year-old woman from Maidstone and a 64-year-old man from Rainham were also taken into custody.
All the suspects were arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to commit vehicle theft. The 18-year-old man from Gillingham was additionally arrested for possession of an offensive weapon and the 17-year-old boy from Rochester was additionally arrested for possession of cannabis.
They have all been bailed to return to the police station on dates 18 and 24 October, pending further investigation.
