Three golf carts were retrieved by officers in Edenbridge within 30 minutes of them being reported stolen.
On Friday 22 May 2026, officers from the Community Safety Unit received a report that the golf carts had been stolen overnight between 9.15pm and 6am from Hever Road.
They conducted searches in the area and located the vehicles in half an hour. They were recovered and returned to the owner.
A car was also seized from the location and is currently being forensically examined.
Enquiries are ongoing.
Inspector Dan Hinrich from the Community Safety Unit said:
'The successful recovery of these golf carts highlights how seriously officers take reports of theft and will do everything they can to find and recover stolen items.
'It was down to the strong community links and local knowledge of the officers that the vehicles were recovered so quickly.'
