Stolen vehicles from Snodland have been retrieved by officers hours after being taken.
At 8.20am on Sunday 29 March 2026, Kent Police received a report that a van containing two motorbikes had been stolen from Saltings Road.
Officers attended the address and the victim provided doorbell footage which showed a potential suspect.
Prompt enquiries led patrols to attend a nearby petrol station where a man who matched the description of the person in CCTV had been spotted.
At 9.40am, two men, aged 64 and 42, were arrested on Malling Road on suspicion of theft of a motor vehicle and going equipped to steal.
A search was then carried out at a property connected to one of the suspects in Longfield. Two bikes were recovered and the stolen van was subsequently located in West Kingsdown.
The stolen vehicles were then returned to the owner, and the two suspects were bailed pending further investigation.
