Suspect charged after Lordswood assault

A suspect has appeared in court following a report of an assault in Lordswood.
On Friday 3 March 2023, the victim was walking in Gould Road when it is alleged a person he did not know approached him and punched his head.
The suspect left the scene and later the same day a man was arrested.
Charged
On the following day, John Dalley, of Huckleberry Close, Chatham was charged with assault by beating. He was also charged with a count of assault occasioning actual bodily harm in connection with an incident on 30 October 2022.
Mr Dalley, aged 22, appeared before Medway Magistrates’ Court where he was remanded to a hearing at the same court on Thursday 9 March.
