A suspect has been charged with attempted murder following a reported knife assault in Gillingham.
Kent Police was called to the incident at a residential property in the town, at around 2.25pm on Saturday 25 January 2025.
Patrols and South East Coast Ambulance Service attended the scene where a man in his late teens was treated for injuries consistent with stab wounds. He was taken to a London hospital where he remains in a stable condition.
A man who is known to the victim was arrested and taken into custody.
Jamie Goodege, of Fourth Avenue, Gillingham, was later charged with attempted murder.
The 21 year old was remanded in custody to appear before Medway Magistrates' Court on Monday 27 January.
