A suspect has been charged following a dispute outside a shop in Tunbridge Wells during which a man was seriously injured.
Kent Police was called at 7.22pm on Sunday 27 April 2025 to a report of a serious assault in the Sainsbury’s car park in St John’s Road.
It is alleged a man punched another man following a disagreement about a car parking space. The victim sustained serious head injuries and was taken to a local hospital.
Later the same night, officers arrested a man in connection to the incident.
Troy Firth, of Ellenborough Road in Sidcup, was later charged with grievous bodily harm and appeared before Sevenoaks Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday 29 April.
The 32 year old has since been remanded to custody pending a further hearing at Woolwich Crown Court on 27 May.
