A suspect has been charged following a break-in at an address in Sittingbourne.
Kent Police was alerted just after 3.30pm on Tuesday 4 March 2025 after it was reported that a local resident had seen a man behaving suspiciously in Britannia Close.
The man allegedly entered a property before being disturbed and left the scene on foot.
Officers attended and a man was detained nearby.
The following day, Nicholas Tyvesse, of Recreation Way, Kemsley was charged with attempted burglary.
He was also charged with the theft of a watch from a town centre store on 4 March.
Mr Tyvesse, 21, was remanded to appear before Medway Magistrates' Court on Thursday 6 March.
