A suspect has been charged with attempted murder following a serious assault in Tunbridge Wells.
The incident happened in Upper Grosvenor Road, at around 1.20pm on Saturday 12 February 2022.
Officers and South East Coast Ambulance Service attended, and a man was taken to a London hospital with injuries consistent with stab wounds. He remains in hospital where his condition is described as stable.
On Sunday 13 February, Michael Rodriguez, 21, of Hadlow, was arrested in connection with the incident and taken into custody.
Later that day the Crown Prosecution Service authorised a charge of attempted murder.
Mr Rodriguez was remanded to appear before Medway Magistrates’ Court on Monday 14 February.
