A quick response by police officers in Dartford has resulted in a man being charged with burglary.
Kent Police was called in the early hours of Tuesday 6 September 2022 after a man was seen acting suspiciously in Coopers Close.
Several of the callers believed the man was attempting to gain entry to their properties.
Officers attended and carried out a search of the area and a man was found nearby and was subsequently arrested at around 1.15am on suspicion of burglary.
Maxwell Linnett, 21, of Rayleigh Close, Erith, South-East London, has been charged with burglary and four counts of fraud.
He appeared before Medway Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday 7 September 2022 and was bailed to attend Maidstone Crown Court on Wednesday 5 October.
