A suspect is to appear in court accused of six shoplifting offences in Ashford.
An investigation was carried out following reports made to Kent Police that meat and cheese goods had been stolen six times between 1 August and 18 August 2024. In total an estimated £369 worth of goods were stolen from two supermarkets.
Robert Bishop, 37, of no fixed address, was charged with shoplifting offences and remanded to appear at Folkestone Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday 21 August.
