A suspect has appeared in court charged with carrying out an assault in Folkestone.
Kent Police was called following a report a man had been injured in an altercation in The Brickfield bar in Cherry Garden Lane, Folkestone shortly before 4.30pm on Thursday 23 January 2025.
Officers attended along with paramedics and the man was taken to a local hospital with injuries which were not life-threatening.
Following enquiries at the scene, a man was later arrested on suspicion of assault.
Stuart Hall has since been charged with causing grievous bodily harm with intent and possession of an offensive weapon, namely a Stanley knife.
The 45 year old, of Radnor Cliff, Folkestone, appeared before Folkestone Magistrates' Court on Saturday 25 January and was bailed to appear before Canterbury Crown Court on Monday 24 February.
