Enquiries into reports of a shed break-in during which multiple items were stolen have led to a suspect being promptly arrested in Gravesend.
It was reported to Kent Police on Thursday 6 March 2025 that the property on Colyer Road, Northfleet had been targeted the previous evening.
Items including a mountain bike, tools and garden equipment were allegedly stolen, after a padlock was forcibly removed.
Officers carried out enquiries and on the morning of Friday 7 March, a 31 year old man from the local area was arrested on suspicion of burglary. He was also arrested in connection with the theft of a motor vehicle from West Street, Gravesend on 12 January.
The man remains in custody pending further enquiries.
