A suspected burglar has been charged and remanded for a spate of break-ins across west Kent.
Owners of six homes in Ashford, Cranbrook, and Tonbridge reported the burglaries between 8 June and 9 July 2025.
Each time, it is alleged a man gained entry to the properties by smashing glass panels in patio doors, or via open windows.
Jewellery, watches, bags, cash, and even WW2 medals were reportedly stolen.
Officers attended each incident to carry out enquiries, including forensic analysis and a thorough review of available CCTV.
A man was arrested on Wednesday 15 October in connection to the incidents.
George Dunn, of Quarry Road in Maidstone, was later charged and remanded with six counts of burglary and a number of driving offences.
The 42 year old appeared before Sevenoaks Magistrates’ Court on Thursday 16 October, where he was remanded to appear before Maidstone Crown Court on 14 November.
