Drugs and weapons have been seized and four suspected dealers arrested following a proactive stop in Ashford.
Officers in the Simone Weil Avenue area became aware of suspicious behaviour shortly after midday on Monday 13 April 2026.
A 20 year old man was detained and a search led to the recovery of two mobile phones. The man was arrested on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of a controlled drug.
Further searches were carried out at a nearby property and wraps, believed to contain heroin and crack cocaine, were seized. Two 17 year old boys were additionally arrested in connection with drugs offences.
Enquiries were completed and a second address in the local area was attended. Drugs paraphernalia, cannabis and knives were seized and a 42 year old woman was also detained.
All four were taken into custody where they remain while enquiries continue.
