A suspected drug dealer has been charged following a pursuit along the M2 near Medway.
During the evening of Monday 20 January 2025, constables on patrol on the coastbound carriageway reported a Ford Mustang GT that appeared to be uninsured.
It is alleged that, after officers illuminated their vehicle’s blue lights, the Ford continued on the motorway before leaving at junction 5 and returning to the London-bound carriageway.
A pursuit continued onto the A2 and later the A282 Dartford Crossing, where patrols brought it to a halt.
Officers arrested the driver and, following a search, seized a quantity of suspected cocaine and around £135 in cash.
