A suspected cocaine dealer has been charged with offences in Tunbridge Wells, as part of an ongoing crackdown on drugs-related crime in west Kent.
Proactive patrols in London Road, Southborough, spotted a vehicle suspected to be involved in the supply of drugs on Sunday 17 November 2024.
Officers followed the car into Holden Park Road, where it stopped, and the driver was detained.
A later search led to the seizure of 18 bags of white powder believed to be cocaine, a quantity of cash, and a mobile phone.
Emilijano Celaj, of Broad Street in Dagenham, Essex, has since been charged with possession with intent to supply cocaine, driving without a licence, and driving without insurance.
The 27 year old appeared before Medway Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday 19 November and he has been remanded in custody pending a further hearing at Maidstone Crown Court on 16 December.
