Suspected Sevenoaks burglar in court

A man is to appear in court after detectives charged him with a Sevenoaks break-in.
During the morning of Wednesday 23 August 2023, a house in Granville Road was targeted while the residents were away, and on their return a quantity of jewellery was reported stolen.
Investigators from West Kent CID commenced an investigation into the incident which included house-to-house enquiries and a forensic examination of the scene.
Arrest
On Monday 4 September, a man was arrested and taken into custody.
Leon Grant, of Hazelbank Road, south London was later charged with burglary.
The 58-year-old was remanded in custody to appear before Medway Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday 6 September.
