A suspected shoplifter who allegedly targeted the same shop in Sittingbourne over the course of five months has been charged.
It was reported that a man had stolen various items from the CO-OP on Blossom Street, Bapchild on eight separate occasions between September 2025 and February 2026.
Officers launched an investigation and on Thursday 23 April 2026 a suspect was located and arrested.
Later that day, Levi Broadmore, 18, of no fixed address, was charged with eight counts of theft from a shop.
He appeared before Sevenoaks Magistrates’ Court and has been bailed until his next court date on Wednesday 22 July 2026.
