Suspected teenage heroin dealer arrested in Medway

A suspected county line drug dealer from Medway has appeared in court.
On Tuesday 28 February 2023, a search warrant was executed by Kent Police’s County Line and Gangs Team at a property in Gillingham town centre.
Investigators detained a teenage boy who was present and he was taken into custody. The officers also seized a mobile phone and a quantity of heroin at the premises.
Charged
The 17-year-old was later charged with being concerned in the supply of heroin and possession of heroin with intent to supply.
He appeared before Medway Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday 1 March, where he was bailed to a hearing at Medway Youth Court on 3 June.
