A suspected Thanet dealer has been charged following an investigation by officers from Kent Police’s County Lines and Gangs Team.
On Monday 25 July 2022, investigators executed a search warrant at an address in Basildon, where they detained a man and took him into custody.
The officers also seized a quantity of heroin and cannabis, plus mobile phones and approximately £7,000 in cash.
Jason Willis, of Cherrydown East, Basildon was later charged with being concerned in the supply of crack cocaine, being concerned in the supply of heroin, being concerned in the supply of cannabis, possessing heroin with intent to supply, possessing cannabis with intent to supply and possessing criminal property, namely the seized cash.
Mr Willis, aged 34, appeared before Medway Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday 26 July where he was remanded to a hearing at Maidstone Crown Court on 23 August.
