Drugs have been seized and two suspected dealers charged with 15 offences following proactive work by officers in Thanet.
Kent Police attended an address in the Star Lane area of Margate on Tuesday 29 September 2026, following a report of concerning behaviour at a property.
Officers saw a man behaving suspiciously and he was arrested. Searches led to the recovery of cocaine, cash and two mobile phones.
Enquiries at the scene were completed and a woman was also detained. Both suspects were taken into custody.
Further searches resulted in white powder being seized along with drugs paraphernalia, several SIM cards and multiple cannisters of nitrous oxide.
The following day, Celso da Costa, of Chichester Road, Ramsgate, was charged in relation to supplying cocaine, ketamine, cannabis and nitrous oxide; possession with intent to supply cocaine, ketamine and cannabis; and possession of criminal property in respect of seized cash.
Shenay Enver, of Manston Way, Margate, was charged with being concerned in the supply of cocaine and five other drugs-related offences. She was also charged with possession of criminal property.
Mr da Costa, 24, and Ms Enver, 22, appeared before Margate magistrates on 1 October and are next due to appear before Canterbury Crown Court on 2 November.
