Multiple charges have been secured against a suspected shoplifter following offences in three west Kent locations.
During the afternoon of 14 October 2023, a woman entered a pharmacy in Tenterden High Street where it is alleged she stole items worth more than £500.
Around a month later, Kent Police was notified that a car was refuelled on two separate occasions at a petrol station in St Saviours Road, Maidstone, before the driver left without paying.
During this period items to the value of more than £150 were also reported stolen from a business in Lenham.
On Thursday 7 December a woman was arrested. Lisa Wallace, of Chestnut Close, Maidstone, was later charged with two thefts and two counts of making off without payment.
The 50-year-old appeared before Medway Magistrates’ Court on the following day where she was bailed pending a further hearing at the same court on Wednesday 3 January 2024.
