Three suspected thieves have been charged after catalytic converters were reportedly stolen from a business near Maidstone.
Kent Police was called to Ashmill Business Park on the A20 Ashford Road just after midnight on Thursday 20 November 2025.
It is alleged that several men attempted to remove catalytic converters from commercial vans. The suspects are reported to have left the scene after being disturbed.
Officers attended and carried out initial enquiries, leading to the arrest of three men as they travelled through Essex.
Later searches led to the seizure of tools.
The following men have since been charged with theft from a motor vehicle, attempted theft from a motor vehicle, and going equipped for theft:
The men are remanded to appear before Medway Magistrates' Court on Friday 21 November.
