A swift arrest was made by officers in Dover following a break-in at a High Street premises on Sunday 10 November 2024.
Police were called to the town centre at 8.37pm after it was reported that the door of Paydens pharmacy had been damaged. A man was seen to enter the building and then leave the area.
Officers attended and initial enquiries were carried out at the scene. Shortly afterwards, a 41 year old man was arrested nearby on suspicion of burglary. A search led to the recovery of prescription drugs.
The man remains in custody while enquiries continue.
