Arrests have been made and a knife seized by officers responding to suspicious activity at an industrial estate in Ashford.
Kent Police was called to the Cobbs Wood site shortly after 12am on Wednesday 10 June 2026.
Men were seen to get out of a car and approach a lorry parked nearby. Officers promptly attended and the occupants of a black Audi estate were detained.
Patrols found the lorry had sustained damage to its side.
Searches were completed, resulting in balaclavas, gloves and a utility knife being recovered. The car, and several vehicle registration plates, were also seized.
Three men, aged 37, 35 and 28, from South Ockenden in Essex, were arrested in connection with the incident and taken into custody while enquiries continue.
