Teamwork from the air and the ground prevented a digger being stolen from a building site in Edenbridge.
Kent Police was called at 12.39am on Thursday 17 March to the site in St Johns Way, Edenbridge after security reported seeing the digger being taken.
The National Police Air Service helicopter was first on the scene and was used to direct officers from the Roads Policing Unit on the ground to two suspects that were seen running away from scene with the digger still at the site.
Two men, aged 18, and 19, both from Edenbridge were detained a short distance away at 1.04am and arrested on suspicion of theft.
They remain in custody as enquiries continue.
