The victim, a woman in her 20s, boarded a bus in West Hill, Dartford, on 2 January 2022 where she was reported to have been approached by the suspect who was with a group of friends.
During the incident the victim was allegedly punched on her arm and subjected to racially motivated abuse.
Officers carried out an investigation and a 15-year-old teenage girl was arrested in Edinburgh on 27 May.
She was later charged via post with common assault and racially aggravated assault and is due to attend Medway Magistrates’ Court on 22 August.
