Four teenagers have been arrested following a quick response to a reported burglary in Herne Bay.
Kent Police was called at 6.56am on Monday 18 March 2024 to a report that a premises on Spa Esplanade had been broken into.
The door frame of the building had allegedly been damaged and a mess made inside.
Officers from Kent Police’s dog unit and the district’s Local Policing Team attended and two 15-year-old boys were detained at the scene, along with two girls aged 14 and 15.
The teenagers were arrested on suspicion of burglary and later bailed pending further enquiries by Canterbury’s Victim Based Crime Team.
