Three suspected drug dealers have been arrested after drugs were seized by officers in Ramsgate.
Kent Police attended Nixon Avenue on the morning of Monday 9 December 2024 after a parcel addressed to a local resident - and thought to contain cannabis - was intercepted.
A 61 year old woman and a 41 year old man were arrested on suspicion of the unlawful importation of Class B drugs and of cultivating cannabis, after a search led to the recovery of a number of young plants.
A further search of a nearby vehicle led to three blocks of suspected cannabis resin being seized. A 31 year old woman connected with the vehicle was arrested on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of drugs.
All three have been bailed while enquiries continue.
