Reports made to police of suspicious behaviour at a car park in Ramsgate have led to officers making two arrests.
Police were called to the area near Sussex Street on Wednesday 17 July 2024 after concerns were raised about people seen frequenting a parked caravan.
Officers attended and nobody was found; however; cannabis, white powder, clip seal bags and other drugs paraphernalia were seized at the scene.
A short while later, officers detained a man and a teenage girl in the area. Further drugs and other items were recovered, including cash and multiple mobile phones.
The man was arrested on suspicion of possession of class A and class B drugs with intent to supply. The girl was arrested on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of drugs.
Both remain in custody pending further enquiries.
