A police pursuit has led to drugs and weapons being seized and two men being arrested in Dartford.
Patrols were alerted to a suspicious car in the Darenth Wood Road area at around 5.30pm on Tuesday 25 March 2025.
Officers signalled for the car to stop before following it to Bedford Road, where it was subsequently involved in a collision with a police vehicle. There were no serious injuries reported and two men were detained.
A search was carried out and cannabis was recovered, along with cash, deal bags, mobile phones and weapons including a hammer, chisel and an extendable baton.
A 30 year old man from Swanley was arrested on suspicion of assault, going equipped for theft, possession with intent to supply class A and B drugs, criminal damage and several driving offences.
A 27 year old man from Dartford was arrested on suspicion of assault, possession of an offensive weapon, possession with intent to supply a class B drug and going equipped for theft.
Both were taken into custody and were later bailed while enquiries continue.
