Two men have been arrested in connection with the death of a 19 year old man in Whitstable.
Shortly after 4pm on Monday 13 April 2026, Kent Police attended a property in Romney Court in Sittingbourne.
Two men, aged 19 and 21, were arrested on suspicion of murder and taken to custody where they remain.
The arrests are part of an investigation into the death of 19 year old Ashton Harrington, who sustained fatal injuries consistent with stab wounds following an assault in Belmont Road, Whitstable, in the early hours of Friday 3 April.
Detective Chief Inspector Emma Lawry said: 'Over the last week, officers have carried out a number of enquiries, including appealing for two men we would like to speak to. ‘Our officers have been seen across Sittingbourne, Herne Bay and Ramsgate as part of the investigation. We have received really good support from the public and we would like to thank them. ‘Two men are now in custody and we will keep the public updated as this case moves on.’
