Two people have been arrested in connection with a serious assault in Tunbridge Wells during which a man was allegedly attacked with a bottle.
Kent Police was called at 11.40pm on Wednesday 9 October 2024 to a report of a disturbance in Goods Station Road. It is alleged one of the attackers hit the victim with a bottle causing him to fall to the floor.
Both suspects are then reported to have kicked the man, before leaving prior to officers’ arrival.
The next day, a 31-year-old man and a 35-year-old woman were arrested on suspicion of assault occasioning grievous bodily harm.
Both were taken to custody where they remain, pending further enquiries.
