Kent Police’s ongoing campaign to tackle vehicle crime has continued with an early morning search warrant at an industrial unit on the Isle of Sheppey.
The enforcement, at 7am on Friday 28 February 2025, led to the arrest of two suspects at a property in Rushenden Road, Queenborough.
Officers searching the premises located a suspected stolen Mercedes Sprinter van.
Further car parts were recovered that are alleged to have come from 11 vehicles stolen in the London area between January 2023 and February 2025.
The cars targeted included Land Rovers, Range Rovers and Kias.
Daivaras Bendziunas and Giedriuz Saginas, both of no fixed address, were later charged with handling stolen property.
Mr Bendziunas, 50, and Mr Saginas, 31, appeared before Medway Magistrates’ Court on Saturday 1 March.
They were both remanded to a hearing at Maidstone Crown Court on 28 March.
