Officers arrived within 10 minutes of a reported theft in Aylesford and have since secured charges against two suspects.
Kent Police was called at 11.37pm on 1 May 2024 following a report of theft from Sytner Land Rover Maidstone, on the Quarry Wood Estate.
It is alleged two men removed the spare tyres from a number of vehicles on the forecourt.
Officers attended the scene and pursued the suspects on foot before arresting two men in connection with the incident.
William Moses, 22, of Beech Gardens in Headcorn, Ashford, and Harry Cadwallider, 28, of Langley Way in Kings Hill, West Malling, have now been charged with theft from a motor vehicle and going equipped for theft of a motor vehicle.
Both men have been released on conditional bail pending hearings at Maidstone Magistrates’ Court on 17 February and 28 February 2025, respectively.
