A violent and abusive man from Sheppey has been jailed for sustained attacks on a woman.
Kai Stone, 24, subjected his victim to frequent verbal abuse and assaults between August and October 2024, including punching her arm and headbutting her in the face.
He also threatened people who attempted to intervene and caused damage to his victim’s car.
Stone, of The Broadway, Minster-on-Sea, was arrested on 19 October 2024 and charged with 11 offences three days later. He was remanded in custody.
Stone admitted to nine charges including two counts of assault by beating, two of causing criminal damage and one of assault occasioning actual bodily harm. He was sentenced at Maidstone Crown Court to two years’ imprisonment on Thursday 27 November 2025.
Police Constable Lauren Yates said: ‘Stone has shown himself to be an abusive bully with a capacity for violence towards women.
‘He has put his victim through a distressing ordeal and she has shown courage in coming forward to report his crimes. I hope she can move on now her attacker has been placed behind bars.’
