Weapons – including knives, an extendable baton and a knuckle duster - have been recovered by officers in Dartford, after a man was arrested in connection with drugs offences.
Patrols were alerted to suspicious behaviour in Green Street Green Road in the early hours of Saturday 22 February 2025.
Officers carried out a search and cannabis was seized, along with deal bags and two mobile phones. A 27 year old man from the local area was arrested on suspicion of possession of a class B drug with intent to supply.
An additional search of a nearby property led to a large number of weapons being recovered and the suspect was further arrested.
Chief Inspector Will Lay said: 'The weapons that my officers recovered have no place in our communities. We are committed to stamping out violent crime and drugs misuse in Kent, and by taking items such as these off the streets, we continue to make our county a safer place in which to live, visit and work.'
