Weapons and railway detonators have been recovered during a search of a property in Gillingham.
Officers were called to Canterbury Street just before 1pm on Saturday 15 August following reports of a disturbance where it was alleged an assault had taken place and a vehicle had been damaged.
Officers attended where they arrested a man, who is alleged to have been violent during the arrest.
A search was conducted inside a property on the same road where officers found a baton, a knuckle duster and a taser.
Seven railway detonators were also found inside a shed in the garden. These are small devices clipped onto rail tracks to create a loud bang to alert drivers.

He appeared before Medway Magistrates’ Court on Monday 17 August 2026 where he was released on conditional bail following his next court appearance on 29 January 2027 at the same court.
