Officers investigating a collision in Dover that led to a man’s death are appealing for witnesses.
On Saturday 9 December 2023 at about 6.50pm, officers attended the scene of an incident involving a black Ford Focus and a pedestrian on Folkestone Road, near to the railway station.
The pedestrian, a man in his 50s, was taken to a London hospital where he sadly died from his injuries a few weeks later.
Officers from the Serious Collision Investigation Unit have been carrying out enquiries to establish the full circumstances of the collision including reviewing CCTV footage. They now believe there were members of the public in the area who have not yet spoken to them and could have vital information.
Anyone who can assist is asked to contact the witness appeal line on 01622 798538 or email [email protected] quoting reference XX/FM/131/23.
