Appeal after shots reportedly fired at Maidstone property

Detectives from the Kent and Essex Serious Crime Directorate are investigating a report that gunshots were fired at a Maidstone address.

Kent Police was called to a property in Massey Close, Tovil at around 7.55pm on Sunday 16 February 2020, where a window had reportedly been damaged by shots discharged from outside the premises. Patrols, including firearms officers, attended the scene where nobody had been injured.

An investigation to establish the full circumstances is underway including forensic examinations at the scene and the review of CCTV in the area.
