Appeal issued following assault in Strood

An appeal has been issued following an allegation that a man was assaulted by a group of people in Strood.
The incident happened at around 8.20pm on Monday 15 June 2020 outside a leisure centre on Watling Street.
Injury
South East Coast Ambulance Service attended and the 18-year-old victim was taken to hospital with an injury consistent with a stab wound to his arm.
Detectives are completing enquiries in the area including forensic examinations at the scene and a review of CCTV footage.

Two men, both aged 19 and from the Grain area, were arrested on suspicion of assault on 16 June. They were later bailed to return to the police station on 3 July.
