Witnesses sought to fatal collision in Rainham

Witnesses are sought after a motorcyclist died in a collision in Rainham.
Kent Police was called at 2.57pm on Thursday 19 November 2020 following a collision between a recovery truck and a motorbike in Otterham Quay Lane, Rainham.
South East Coast Ambulance Service and Kent, Surrey, Sussex Air Ambulance also attended.
The motorcyclist, who was a twenty-five-year-old man from Lambeth, South London, was declared deceased at the scene.
Officers from Kent Police’s Serious Collision Investigation Unit would like to hear from anyone who witnessed the incident or who has CCTV or dashcam footage.
In particular, investigators are also appealing to a driver of a dark SUV-type model which was seen travelling in front of the motorcyclist, in the direction of the A2, before the collision happened.
