Crack cocaine and cannabis seized from drugs warrant near Whitstable

Suspected crack cocaine and a large quantity of bagged cannabis have been seized by police following a drugs warrant near Whitstable.
Officers from the Canterbury Community Policing Team carried out the warrant under the Misuse of Drugs Act, at a property in The Ridings, Chestfield during the morning of Friday 22 May 2020.
They also removed drugs paraphernalia as well as a quantity of nitrous oxide cannisters.
A 22-year-old man from Herne Bay was arrested on suspicion of possessing Class A drugs with intent to supply and taken in to custody.
He was later bailed to return to a police station on 13 June.
Inspector Guy Thompson, of the Canterbury Community Safety Unit, said: 'We continue to target those who are dealing drugs in all parts of the district.
'We work with the community and our partners to tackle drug dealing and associated criminality which can affect the quality of life of residents and bring anti-social behaviour to where they live.'
