Charges for suspect following armed robberies in Maidstone

A suspected armed robber has been charged following his arrest in Maidstone.
At around 10.20pm on Wednesday 18 November 2020 a man is reported to have entered a shop in Lower Stone Street, whilst holding a knife.
It is alleged he stole a quantity of cash from the till and a bottle of whisky, then threatened a shop assistant before leaving the premises.
Following enquiries by attending officers a man was arrested.
Patrick Dilley of Lower Stone Street, Maidstone was later charged with robbery and possessing a bladed article.
The 31-year-old was also charged with a further count of robbery at the same shop on 19 October.
Mr Dilley was remanded in custody to appear before Medway Magistrates' Court on Friday 20 November.
