Court appearance for suspected Tonbridge cocaine dealer

A suspected drug dealer has appeared at court after he was arrested in Tonbridge.
At 7.45pm on Wednesday 23 December 2020, officers were on patrol when they stopped a VW Golf in Darenth Avenue.
Drugs seized
Suspecting the driver was involved in the supply of drugs, the officers searched the vehicle and found 12 deals of cocaine.
The officers also seized a quantity of cash and a mobile phone, and the driver was arrested and taken into custody.
Charged
Shahin Miah, of South View Road, Tunbridge Wells, was later charged with possession of cocaine with intent to supply and possessing criminal property, namely the seized cash.
Mr Miah, aged 34, appeared before Medway Magistrates’ Court on Saturday 26 December where he was bailed to a hearing at Maidstone Crown Court on 21 January 2021.
