A van was stopped in Ditton where officers from the Rural Task Force arrested a man for drug and driving offences.

On Wednesday 2 December 2020 at around 9am the driver was stopped as he was leaving a petrol station on London Road. He was searched and police found a quantity of cannabis in his rucksack. The vehicle was found to have no insurance and was seized.

Charged

Aaron Pennells, 23, of no fixed address has been charged with possession of class B drugs and driving without a licence or insurance.

He has been bailed to appear at Maidstone Magistrates’ Court on Friday 5 February 2021.
