Suspected roof tile thief found by police dog in Tudeley

A police dog has assisted officers with locating a suspected thief after several roof tiles were removed from a property near Tonbridge.
Kent Police was called at 10.35pm on Wednesday 6 January 2021 to a report of two trespassers trying to enter a building in Half Moon Lane, Tudeley.
The suspects were said to have removed around 30 tiles from the roof of the building.
Officers attended and with the help of PD Biggy carried out a search of the area.
A 33-year-old man from Pembury was located in a nearby field. He was arrested and later released pending further investigation.
