Arrest following death in Folkestone
Detectives from the Kent and Essex Serious Crime Directorate investigating the death of Joe Daniels in Folkestone have made an arrest.
A 23-year-old man from Canterbury was arrested on Wednesday 31 January 2018 in connection with the incident, which happened inside the Red Cow Pub in Foord Road on Wednesday 22 November 2017.
Officers were called to the scene that day where Mr Daniels, 58, was found unresponsive shortly before 11.30am. He had suffered an injury consistent with a gunshot wound and was pronounced dead at the scene. A firearm was also recovered.
The man has been released on bail until Wednesday 28 February 2018.
