Officers arrest second man following Sheerness robbery
Officers investigating a robbery in Sheerness have arrested a second man.
The man was arrested on 3 January 2019 after two men reported being assaulted in Sheerness High Street at around 4.30am on 22 December 2018.
During the incident the victims were punched and kicked and one victim also reported having his wallet stolen which contained a quantity of cash.
Officers investigating the incident had previously arrested a 19-year-old man from Queenborough on 28 December 2018 on suspicion of robbery and assault and he has since been released under investigation.
An 18-year-old man from Minster on Sea who was arrested on 3 January 2018 has been released under investigation while officers continue their enquiries.
